1. Parties and acceptance
These terms are between the person using the Skormania mobile app and related services (the “Game”) (the “User”) and Skormania, the owner of the Game (the “Owner”). The Game asks you to accept these terms and the privacy policy when you create an account. If you do not accept them you cannot create an account. Your acceptance is recorded with the version, date and your account.
2. Age and capacity
The Game is for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 18 you should use the Game with the permission of a parent or guardian. By accepting these terms you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
3. The service
Skormania is an entertainment game in which you predict the scores of each week’s matches in the leagues you choose, your predictions are scored, and a separate leaderboard is kept for each league. Predictions lock 30 minutes before the week’s first match; the cut-off is enforced on the server. Fixtures and results come from third-party data sources; points may be updated for postponed, cancelled or corrected matches. The Owner may add, change, temporarily disable or remove leagues, scoring rules and features.
4. Account
Your account is personal and may not be transferred or sold. You are responsible for the security of your device and sign-in method. Your username may not infringe others’ rights or be misleading or offensive. The Owner may change or remove a username it finds inappropriate.
5. Rules of use and cheating
Cheating software, automation, collecting points with multiple accounts, altering results or traffic, extracting content, reverse engineering, overloading the service and harassing other players are prohibited. Suspicious results are reviewed automatically and manually. In case of a breach or reasonable suspicion, the Owner may correct points, remove you from leaderboards, or restrict or close the account.
6. Free to play, no betting
The Game is free. There are no cash prizes, betting, games of chance or paid memberships. Leaderboards and points have no cash or in-kind value and cannot be exchanged for anything of value.
7. Availability and discontinuation
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free or to work on every device. Maintenance, outages, internet interruptions and third-party services may cause problems. The Owner may discontinue the service, where possible after announcing it in the Game at least 30 days in advance.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design and the Skormania name and logo belong to the Owner or its licensors. Club and league names and related trademarks belong to their owners; the Game is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. You are granted only a limited, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial use. You allow the Owner to use your username and similar content free of charge for the duration of the service in order to provide the Game.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner is not liable for loss of profit, loss of data or points, loss of reputation or indirect damages. These limits do not apply to intent or gross negligence, to harm to life or health, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You are liable, to the extent of your fault, for third-party claims against the Owner and their reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or the law.
11. Force majeure
Delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, epidemics, public authority decisions, cyber attacks or infrastructure or supplier outages, creates no liability.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is published on this page. For important changes the Game will ask for your consent again; if you do not accept, you cannot continue to use the Game. If you do not agree, you may delete your account.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time under Settings → Account → Delete my account. The Owner may restrict or close an account for breach, legal necessity or security reasons.
14. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and the Owner, not Apple or Google. To the extent permitted by law, Apple is not responsible for maintenance, support, content or warranties for the Game. Apple is not responsible for third-party infringement claims or product claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on a restricted-party list.
15. Records and general provisions
Server records may be used as evidence in disputes to the extent permitted by law. If a provision is held invalid, the others remain in effect; not exercising a right is not a waiver. The Owner may assign these terms if the Game is transferred.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumer disputes, Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction according to the monetary thresholds. Your non-waivable rights as a consumer are reserved. In case of conflict between versions, the Turkish text prevails, subject to mandatory provisions.
