Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) we will process your personal data as described below. Skormania has not been released yet; this notice is based on the app’s design.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Skormania, the owner of the Skormania app. Requests and contact: [email protected].
2. Personal data processed
- Identity and account: username, jersey colour and number, sign-in method (Apple, Google, email), email address and the name from a linked account.
- Game data: the leagues you join, your match predictions, points, leaderboard position and the team you follow.
- Device and security: device model, operating system, app version, notification token, sign-in records, your IP address and the time and type of each request you make to our servers (access log), and records of terms acceptance and permissions.
- Support: the message and contact details you send us.
- Website: the usage data described in section 11.
3. Purposes
- Creating and maintaining your account, saving and scoring your predictions,
- Running league leaderboards and enforcing the prediction cut-off on the server,
- Preventing cheating and keeping the service secure,
- Sending notifications according to your permissions, providing support, fixing errors,
- Proving acceptance of the terms, meeting legal obligations and protecting rights in disputes.
4. Legal grounds (KVKK Art. 5)
Formation and performance of a contract, legal obligation, establishing, exercising or protecting a right, and legitimate interest (preventing cheating, security, fixing errors). Notifications follow your device permission setting.
5. Transfers
Your data is shared with our service providers only as far as the service requires:
- hosting, database, email and notification providers (named in this list before the app is released),
- Apple and Google: sign-in and notifications.
These providers may be abroad; transfers follow KVKK Art. 9. Requests from competent authorities and courts are honoured. Your data is never sold.
6. How data is collected
Your personal data is collected electronically through the app and the website, from what you enter and automatically while you play.
7. Retention
- Data is kept for the duration of the service relationship and the periods required by law.
- When you delete your account your personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days; anonymous statistics may remain.
- Access logs containing IP addresses are kept for 90 days for security and cheat prevention, then deleted.
- Records of terms acceptance, permissions and security incidents may be kept for the relevant periods as evidence and for legal obligations.
8. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You may learn whether your personal data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn the third parties it was transferred to, object to an adverse outcome of automated analysis, claim compensation and use your other statutory rights. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account → Delete my account or by following the delete account page, and send other requests to [email protected]. Requests are answered within 30 days.
9. Children
Skormania is for users aged 13 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you notice such data, write to [email protected] and it will be deleted. Users under 18 receive no commercial notifications.
10. Security
Your data is protected with measures such as TLS encryption in transit and access restrictions. No system is perfectly secure; in case of a breach the notifications required by law are made.
11. Website
games.ozeren.org uses Google Analytics cookies to measure visits. What is processed, retention periods and how to object are in the cookie policy. Technical server logs may be kept for hosting and security.
12. Changes
This notice may be updated; the current version is published on this page. For important changes the app will inform you and ask for consent again if needed.
The Turkish version prevails in case of conflict.
